Description

Project ALERT is a classroom-based substance abuse prevention program for 7th and 8th graders that is proven to reduce the experimental and continued use of drugs.

Through a series of comprehensive lessons, Project ALERT motivates students against drug use, cultivates new non-use attitudes and beliefs, and equips teens with the skills and strategies they will use to resist drugs.

Sign-in and light breakfast from 8:30 - 9:00 am. Training will begin promptly at 9:00 am. Lunch will be provided.

Facilitator: Dr. Pamela Luna

Please note that we may need to give priority registration to those who have not attending training in the past 12 months. If you attended in 2015, we may put you on a wait list to ensure that those who have not yet been trained are able to attend. We are working on scheduling "booster" curriculum networking meetings to provide additional support for those who are currently implemented the program.
